Job Summary:Provides (8-24 hours, 7 days/week) first-line operational supervision of the delivery, implementation and evaluation/improvement of direct patient care emergency medicine and nursing services and personnel in assigned functional unit/area(s) within a 24/7 Emergency Services Department. Ensures that healthcare team/staff provide high quality, cost-effective care and patient-focused services that comply with all organizational, departmental and local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
