JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Manager, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment will provide FF&E project management for projects under the Harris Health $2.9-billion Strategic Capital Plan. This will include management of internal and external resources required for procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures and equipment, artwork, signage, wayfinding, donor recognition, etc. The Senior Project Manager - FF&E is responsible for coordinating and overseeing outside vendors on assigned projects from implementation to completion, ensuring that all projects completed are in compliance with Harris County Purchasing Policies, ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) Policies, City Building Codes, TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation), DSHS (Department of State Health Services) and other applicable Harris Health System policies. Leads FF&E process through initiation, planning, funding, programming, pre-design, equipment and furniture selection and procurement, design, pricing/purchasing, installation, occupancy, and project closeout. Manages internal and external relationships through effective communication and demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting a professional attitude, honesty, and integrity. Leads and participates in a collaborative team environment to achieve the best possible outcomes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor Degree and/or PMP preferred
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): 8-10 years in Healthcare-Design/Construction Administration
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): 5 years of Project Management
4. Equipment Operated: Plotters, Computer, Scanners, A/E tools (i.e. AuotCAD, Microsoft Project, etc.), Project Management Software, etc.
