The Rape Treatment Center provides comprehensive, free services for victims, including 24-hour emergency medical care, forensic services, crisis counseling and longer-term therapy, information about victims’ rights and options, and many other support services - all in a special private Clinic dedicated exclusively to sexual assault victim care 24 hours a day. All free of charge to patients.
In this role, you will help advance the vital mission of the UCLA Health Rape Treatment Center in order to bring justice and compassionate healing to victims. We are internationally recognized for our comprehensive services for victims of sexual assault and child sexual abuse, as well as our pioneering outreach and prevention education programs. With guidance and direction from the Director of Crisis Services, the Crisis Services Supervisor will help oversee the clinical and administrative management of our crisis counselor response program. This Supervisor role will have assigned responsibilities in the Sexual Assault Examination Clinic, include assisting with recruitment and training of on-call staff, individual supervision of assigned on-call counselors, and sharing of Administrator On-Call duties with our other department managers. The Crisis Services Supervisor will also provide adult individual and group psychotherapy, and other support services to children, adolescents and adults at the Rape Treatment Center.

Salary range: $76,200.00 - $158,800.00 Annual
Qualifications
We’re seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate supervisor with:
An active California State license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Master’s degree from an accredited School of Social Work or Social Welfare.
At least three years of post-licensure and at least three years of experience in crisis intervention.
Current knowledge of evidence-based trauma-informed assessment and interventions for victims of sexual assault.
In-depth understanding of the dynamics and effects of sexual abuse and assault, and responses to trauma.
Advanced knowledge of relevant medical, legal, and public policy issues related to sexual abuse and assault.
Advanced knowledge of supervisory principles and practices, ability to articulate a compelling and inspired vision for the program, and ability to recognize, analyze and creatively resolve unexpected problems.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive, empowering and collaborative working culture.
Advanced knowledge of effective crisis intervention and DSM 5 mental health diagnostic criteria, and ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice and supervision.
Ability to work effectively with people who represent diversity in age, ethnicity, and cultural backgrounds.
Advanced competence in assessing suicidality and homicidality, and ability to implement effective interventions to manage self-harm and high-risk behaviors in clients.
Competence in assessing/reporting potential child, elder and domestic abuse, and an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of police, prosecutors, DCFS, and medical personnel in sexual abuse/assault cases.
