About the Opportunity
Join a compassionate and collaborative team providing essential Primary Care services to patients in a psychiatric inpatient setting. This unique role offers flexibility and the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to individuals who otherwise may not have access to primary care.
What Youll Do:
Deliver in-person Primary Care services in a freestanding inpatient psychiatric hospital during business hours.
Manage an average of 1-2 new admissions per day and 3-4 acute visits daily.
Conduct basic procedures such as suture removal and wound care.
Collaborate with an established team of psychiatric providers, social workers, nurses, and mental health specialists.

The Ideal Candidate

What You Need:
Active licensure as a PA-C, or ARNP
Experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine or psychiatry preferred
Strong interest in serving patients with psychiatric conditions

Position Summary
MultiCare Health System Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced mental health Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice. Our team provides high quality psychiatric services.
Join our highly skilled, compassionate staff providing effective services that restore hope and help individuals and families get back onto the path toward achieving their life goals. This is an opportunity to be fully engaged with patient care and join a close knit, collegial and supportive team of providers.
Requirements
Certified psychiatric ARNP or D-ARNP
Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
Minimum 1-3 years clinical experience providing direct patient care
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
Maintain a valid Washington State Motor Vehicle License

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $65.86 - $89.33 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
