DescriptionPerforms phlebotomy and other specimen collections.Provides clerical and receptionist support services by filing records and slides; answering the phone; making appointments; may assist patients to appropriate diagnostic area.Receives requisitions for laboratory testing and collects patient specimens such as urine, blood, etc. withinrequired time frame.Consistently performs specimen processing using available personnel protective equipment and supplies.Displays good hygienic behavior to prevent self-inculcation and cross-contamination to self and otherlaboratory areas.Notifies testing personnel of patient's samples that are to be tested i.e. blood, urine, stools and culture
