Ultrasound Technologist opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill an Ultrasound Technologist position. The Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. This position function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. This person will also participate in QI activates.
Education: High School Diploma, General equivalency diploma (GED). Graduate from a CAAHEP approved diagnostic sonography program or graduate from an accredited ultrasound program that provides eligibility to take ARDMS credential examinations.
License/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent education with experience. BLS. National certification through ARDMS or ARRT-Sonography
Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience in General, OB, Vascular and Breast Ultrasound. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English and must have moderate computer knowledge.
Experience: One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist.
