Expansion of services at this beautiful small-town facility in Rocky Mount, VA. Only 30 minutes from Roanoke and approximately 1 hour from the North Carolina border. Two beautiful new, state-of-the art operating rooms with two procedure rooms opening soon. Carilion Clinic is a Not-for Profit facility. Facility is CRNA-only with 1:4 call. Call shifts are paid extra as are extra hours worked. Leave early on light days. Practice to the full scope of your training here with a great group of surgeons; cases include general, endoscopy, podiatry, hand orthopedics, GYN, plastics, health ENT. No OB/hearts/heads. Prefer strong candidates with at least a year experience in practice.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Graduate of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia education. Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner-Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Virginia. Current certification or recertification as an active, practicing nurse anesthetist as granted by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Maintain current American Heart Associated (AHA) approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Other: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
