We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
Job Description: As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our outpatient orthopedic clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical therapists and providing high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment plans and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions.
Implement treatment plans designed by physical therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
Monitor and document patients' progress and report any changes to the supervising physical therapist.
Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associate's degree in physical therapist assistant.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in North Carolina.
