Director Marketing & Fulfillment Health Plan plans, directs, and coordinates marketing and fulfillment functions for the health plan of Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH), including, marketing and brand strategy, digital marketing, member-facing communications, and other member fulfillment programs. Develops and implements marketing plans to achieve annual and long-term membership goals of the health plan. Advances the BSWHP brand, visual identity, and its promise to members through the development of advertising, marketing, communication, and fulfillment tactics for all lines of business, including Medicare, Medicaid, Group Commercial, and Single/Family. Responsible for the member communication process and ensures marketing materials, service offerings, and other key messages related to BSWH health plan are clearly communicated to members. Partners with sales, underwriting, product development, legal, compliance, enrollment, and other departments of the health plan to guide, coordinate, and execute marketing and communication of the plan to members. Designs and delivers marketing and fulfillment programs that increase customer awareness and preference for the health plan and drive growth and new business to BSWH.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Directs the marketing and fulfillment function for BSWH health plan and drives its day-to-day operations.
Develops short-term and long-term marketing and communication strategies to meet the business priorities of the health plan including coordinated efforts with BSWH and BSWQA.
Reviews and approves appropriate marketing, branding, and communications accuracy in all member and provider operational correspondence, such as Finance, Enrollment, and Health Services.
Evaluates health plan market position, participates in market research for use in strategy development, and recommends action based on investigation of the data.
Develops strategies that will draw patients, members, referring physicians, providers, and other customers to the health plan.
Collaborates with joint venture partners, contracted vendors, and system leadership to ensure consistency and coordination of marketing communications for health plan members and patients.
Partners with external vendors and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated marketing programs, including sponsorships for special events related to Open Enrollment and the Annual Enrollment Period.
Leverages industry vendor relationships to increase BSWH health plan recognition as a premier healthcare provider and community mentor in regions served to gain vendor efficiencies and favorable fulfillment pricing.
Runs the creation and delivery of regulated member and provider member benefit plan documents, explanation of benefits, notices, annual renewals, and other communications.
Directs heath plan websites and email communications for all audiences, including members, providers, brokers, employers, and internal health plan employees.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related degree.
3+ years of experience in marketing, customer experience, or healthcare/health plan operations.
Experience in a leadership role.
Experience leading external vendors and creative agencies in development of content.
Experience with digital marketing including websites, email, and media campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven copy writing / copy editing skills.
Proven project management and organizational skills.
