Location: AdventHealth Deland – 701 W. Plymouth Ave, Deland, FL

The role you’ll contribute:

2/28/22 Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures.  Assist Radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies.  Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history.  Performs darkroom, clerical and transport functions.  Participates in standby call.  Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards.  Assists in Radiology Department as needed. 

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·       Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures.

·       Maintains records of examinations performed.

·       Obtains and documents patient clinical history and explains procedure.

·       Obtains and documents patient clinical history and explains procedure.

·       Positions patients, equipment and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards. 

·       Sends images to QC station and then to PACS and archives images

·       Enters patient demographic information into logs and system.

·       Transports, lifts, moves and positions patients as needed to obtain images, transport patient to/from department, table or as otherwise needed for patient care.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

·       Two years CT/MRI experience 

·       Two years of CT experience is needed for entry level MRI position if no previous MRI experience.

·       MRI registered or one-year experience.

·       Licensure by the ARRT in MRI required.
