The Chesapeake Center (CC) was founded by Kathleen Nadeau, Ph.D., an internationally known and respected expert on ADHD. Over the past 40 years CC has grown into one of the largest clinics in the country that specializes in ADHD, employing over 45 clinical and neuropsychologists, medical providers, social workers, coaches, and administrative staff across three offices in the D.C. suburbs of Montgomery County, MD. We are now seeking to hire a full time Deputy Director of Training to assist with our two-year post-doctoral training program in neuropsychology that is a member of APPCN. The position requires board certification in clinical neuropsychology via ABPP.

This position involves a combination of providing neuropsychological assessment, supervising post-docs in our post-doctoral training program in neuropsychology that is a member of APPCN, as well as providing didactic training to our post-doctoral trainees on a rotating basis with the other neuropsychologists on staff. The salary range is dependent on experience.
We are looking for a mid-career psychologist who meets the following criteria:
Is board-certified in neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
Is licensed, or is license eligible, in the state of Maryland.
Has significant experience and expertise in neuropsychological assessment with neurodiverse populations across the lifespan (including autism, ADHD and learning disabilities).
Is committed to providing follow-up support and collaboration with other professionals following assessment.
Has significant experience supervising trainees in neuropsychological assessments within structured programs at the internship or post-doctoral level.
Can demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based neuropsychological testing and staying up to date with the scientific literature.
Has experience working with a multi-cultural client base and who can demonstrate being a lifelong learner of the clinical, professional and person matters that are affiliated with multiculturalism.
Is mission-driven rather than job-obligated; someone who is passionate about neuropsychology and training.
Who stays up to date on chart notes, report delivery and other administrative commitments to clients, trainees and colleagues.
Who can make a substantive contribution to a pre-existing culture of collaboration, respect, and good cheer.
Who can demonstrate a commitment to advancing their professional standing.
Interest and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder is a plus.
