Is responsible to verify insurance benefits, pre-certify or obtain authorization for the surgical services, calculate patient out of pocket expense, and counsel patients prior to surgery regarding financial responsibilities. Facilitates efficient workflow, supports appropriate use of technology, highly supportive of all staff roles as needed
