Patient Aligned Care team (PACT), the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with PACT functions as a member of the team as assigned. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Grade Determinations: In addition to the basic requirements, the following qualification criteria must be met for each grade. Specialty Clinic: Specialty clinic LPNs work in a variety of medical and surgical clinics, each with their own intricacies based on the specialty. Incumbents will complete vital signs, nurse intakes, administer injections, perform uroflows, bladder scans, catheter changes, assist with phone messages and secure messages and alert the RN and MD of any abnormal physical, mental observations they note during their intake interview or phone calls/secure messages.
