ChristianaCare is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our Medical Critical Care Team servicing 3 hospital campuses (1,300 beds) in Newark and Wilmington, DE and Elkton, MD. This is a full-time position rotating through day, evening, night and weekend shifts.

The selected candidate will provide clinical management to patients in the Medical ICU with the support and collaboration by a medical intensivist as well as responding to code blues, performing ICU admissions, and managing rapid responses (Cecil campus only).

Position details:

• Day shift 10 or 12-hours, 7a-5p or 7a-7p
• Evening shift, 4p-2a
• Night shift, 7p-7a
• 1 in 4 weekends
• 1 major and 1-2 minor holidays per year

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Delaware and Maryland
• Acute Care NP license required
• Prescriptive Authority for the state of Delaware and Maryland
• DEA registration for the state of Delaware and Maryland
• ACLS required
