Position Information:
The Accred/Patient Safety Spec RN acts as a consultant for facilitating system wide activities and initiatives related to Patient Safety and Accreditation and ensuring alignment and standardization of programs policies procedures and resources throughout all WakeMed Enterprises to meet clinical regulatory standards and safe patient care. The position will work in collaboration with regulatory surveyors WakeMed medical staff/leaders and patients to attain regulatory compliance and implement patient safety improvements. Leads regulatory surveys as required implements process improvements via WW2E methodology. Will establish data metrics and reports for communication to WakeMed leaders.

Experience Requirements:
5 Years Nursing - Related Area Required - And 2 Years Direct Position Experience Preferred

Education Required:
Graduate Nursing Required - And Bachelor's Degree Nursing Or Related Field Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Or Related Field Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required

Hours of Work:
M-F 0800-1630

Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
