Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients including regular cleanings, and surgical extractions. Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health. Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans.
Provide medications as necessary. Carefully document all medications, diagnoses treatments, and consultations. Collaboration with local, state and federal oral health as well as medical health professionals and programs. Support of water fluoridation, school sealant programs, oral cancer screenings and participation in various other community programs to positively influence the community's overall oral health. Directly supervise oral health staff, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and support personnel assigned to CCHC. Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff.
