In this role, you will:

• Provide age-appropriate assessment andinterventions in order to meet the needs of patients and families served
• Obtain, evaluate and use information from thepatient requisition, medical records, referring physician and correlate withacquired images
• Use cognitive sonographic skills, to identifyand differentiate anatomy and pathology
• Use independent judgement to produce diagnosticimages of human anatomy utilizing diagnostic ultrasound systems for ourreferring providers and our interpreting physicians
• Extend courtesy to our patients, familymembers, visitors and co-workers through our "World Class Practices" ServiceStandards

This position will support the Santa Monica and Westwood region,primarily in the Santa Monica Campus area,providing patient care for our inpatient and outpatient settings. This positionparticipates in on-call, holiday, and weekend schedules as prepared by themanager. Additionally, participation in rotating shifts is required, as needed.

Staff Sonographer:

• One to two years experience within thehospital / acute care setting
• Must maintain active RDMS certification in onespecialty, i.e. Abdomen or OB-GYN
• Graduate of CAAHAP accredited ultrasoundprogram is strongly preferred
• Salary Range: $55.94 - $73.81 Hourly

Senior Sonographer (Advancement into Senior Sonographer jobclassification will be assessed after 6 months with UCLA Health):

• Minimum of four years of prior experience within the hospital / acute care setting
  
• Must maintain Active RDMS certification in three specialties: Abdomen, OB-GYN and RVT
  
• Proficient in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Pediatric and Vascular Sonography.  Additionally, proficiency in interventional procedures
  
• Graduate of CAAHAP accredited ultrasound school is strongly preferred
  
• Hourly
  

Salary Range (Staff through Senior): $55.94 - $76.12 Hourly
