The Department of Medicine is seeking a Staff Research Associate for the Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P). AIR-P aims to create a collaborative, multicenter research platform to advance interventions for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities (ASD/DD), focusing on physical health and well-being. The Staff Research Associate will assist with recruitment, enrollment, surveys, interviews, and the implementation of research programs. Additionally, they will manage project tasks, support administrative duties, and contribute to the overall productivity of AIR-P and its partners. This role may also involve providing research, policy analysis, and writing support for related projects.
Hourly: $28.04-$45.11
Required:
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation. Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Experienced in summarizing and presenting data for reports and presentation.
- Experienced in research project coordination. Ability to prioritize group tasks, and manage projects & teams.
- Strong problem solving skills. Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environment based on changing priorities and frequent interruptions.
- Excellent team skills, interacting well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, and research partners, and maintaining a helpful attitude at all times.
- Experience with community outreach and community-based organizations.
- Skill in operating a MAC and PC with experience in MS Office and the ability to learn additional software programs.
- Familiarity with data analysis software, such as SPSS, SAS, and/or Stata
- Skill in editing for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and use of medical terminology
- A master's degree in public health, public policy, or other relevant field, and 2 yearsexperience in a research setting, or comparable training and previous projectcoordination experience
- Experience with Powerpoint and development of tables and figures
- Experience with data collection and/or analyses for medical research.
