You'll play a pivotal role within the FinancialAffairs Team of the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) as you helpestablish and implement schoolwide accountability systems and internalcontrols, as well as oversight, monitoring, and assessment.

Youwill partner with leadership, department CAOs, and CFOs to identify andmitigate financial regulatory and compliance risks. Your primary responsibilitywill be to ensure that DGSOM maintains robust internal controls that effectivelymeasure, monitor, and manage risk while ensuring efficient operations acrossthe school. This will involve overseeing the creation and upkeep of a stronginternal control framework, monitoring control activities, conducting riskassessments, and ensuring policy adherence and regulatory compliance. You will:

• OverseeSales & Service activities, including budget submissions, revisions, ratereviews, and compliance monitoring
• Leadinitiatives to uphold the highest standards of financial governance andoperational integrity
• Supervisea team of employees and contractors in enhancing and sustaining DGSOM'sinternal control framework
• Deliverexpert guidance to departments during both external and internal reviews/audits
