Take on a rewarding role in a Magnet® designated and world-class health organization! The clinical nurse is a professional caregiver who provides direct patient care and assumes responsibility and accountability for surgical patients via the nursing process.
Under direct supervision of the Unit Director and Assistant Unit Director, the incumbent will function in the circulating and scrub role. The clinical nurse is an integral part of the surgical team, working collaboratively to ensure patient safety, implement nursing interventions, and participate in process and quality improvement initiatives.
Hourly Salary Range: $59.46 - $88.39
We're seeking a highly-skilled,self-motivated nursing professional with:
· Current validCalifornia RN license, required
· BSNor MSN, required
· 2years of operating room experience as an RN, required
· BLSfrom the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required
· Experiencein orthopedic surgery, specifically total joint arthroplasty, preferred
· Skillin implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
· Abilityto perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
· Abilityto develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involvingpatients, family, and staff
· OfficialTranscripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must beprovided upon hire
