The Technical Service Delivery Engineer will provide support for various networked components, workstations, and printers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Implement and support of a 24 x 7 environment for networked equipment, workstations, printers, and related software
Build, installation, performance monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance
Participate in the rotational after-hours 24x7 on-call support and perform other assigned tasks as needed by departmental requirements.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $95,900 - $222,100 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between $95,900 - $130,000 annually.

General knowledge of relevant policies andprocedures.
Ability to research and test new technologiesand processes
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS and TCP/IP
Hands-on data networking skills requiredincluding; IP & Ethernet routing and switching based network design,testing and implementations with in-depth knowledge of the OSI seven layermodel and in depth familiarity with industry protocols including OSPF, HSRP,EIGRP, BGP, TCP/IP, 802.1x, IPSec, Radius, TACACS+ and alike
Experience in using network protocol analyzersand sniffers such as WireShark, Fluke tools and has ability to decipher packetcaptures
Working knowledge of Voice/VoIP and Wirelessplatforms required; Soft switches, Communications Manager, Unity, Unityconnection, Voice Gateways, Feature Servers, Application Servers, MediaServers, IADs, and Wireless devices etc.
Experience and knowledge of IEEE 802.11 wirelessstandards, CISCO and Aruba wireless controllers
Experience in Voice and Wireless servicesincluding SIP Trunks, Unified messaging, Conferencing, and Integrated Accessservices
Support systems for network management includinga working knowledge of Voice technologies. IP switching and routingarchitectures supporting VoIP and ISP services
Proficiency working with VLAN, VRF, HSRP, PortSecurity, Traffic Shaping, Priority Queuing, Class of Service (CoS)
An understanding of different cabling types:Multimode fiber, single-mode fiber, LC versus SC, 10/100/1000BaseX, Cat5,Cat5e, Cat6, RJ45, RJ11
Experience using troubleshooting tools:traceroute, ping, mtr, nmap, netstat, ipconfig/ifconfig, iperf
Understand and apply IT Engineering Lifecyclemethodology and practices
Ability to communicate the status of varioussystems to management and/or support personnel.
Ability to skillfully react to a fluid andconstantly changing work environment.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in ahigh-pressure environment
Ability to prioritize and organize workassignments
Ability to monitor and report on IP monitor
Understanding of Microsoft Networking and ActiveDirectory
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and above
Knowledge of ISS Microsoft Office products(O365, Office 2016, Outlook, Exchange and OWA)
Understanding of project plans, presentations,procedures, diagrams and other technical documentation
