The role you’ll contribute:
The Manager of EPIC Revenue Cycle Applications leads a team of analysts that design, build, implement, support, and test multiple Epic applications including but not limited to the following:
·Provides guidance and act as a resource for other analysts, project managers, and consultants
·Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
·May lead and manage multiple projects within cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams
·Provides application team oversight and management to deliver IT services
·Assesses user needs to provide support and proactive service, including analysis of opportunities in order to take advantage of available tools
·Acts as a focal point for communicating related system problems within the department and collaborates with other teams/vendors on changes, fixes, and updates
·Manages the release process for applications which includes effective department wide and end user communication
·Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements across the agencies and/or departments
·Sets and measures performance objectives and provides regular one-on-one feedback to all members of the team
·Hires and evaluates the performance of direct reports, and provides ongoing coaching and staff development;
·Addresses individual staff performance problems as needed
·Manages delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets raised by the end users for assigned applications
·Develops relevant metrics, measures and publishes the performance of the services provided and enables continuous improvement activities in collaboration with peer groups

·Remains current on industry trends and vendor/application/system updates. Ensures that all software modifications/upgrades are working according to Epic specifications.
·Leads the coordination, prioritization and assignment of customer requests.Solving complex problems in support of all levels of customers within organization.
·Manage teams to perform required support activity
·Lead complex projects with minimal supervision to include initiatives for scope, resourcing, and timeline requirements
·Identify and engage subject matter experts across departments to ensure timely delivery of services
·Facilitates operations by developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources; implementing productivity standards
·Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities
·Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; conducting training; implementing enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
·Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adhering to legal regulations
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·5 years of clinical, revenue cycle, business or technical background
·BS or BA in a Healthcare or Business-related field
·An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
·Yearly participation in ongoing education either formal or through conferences, active professional organization participation, or journal presentations.
·Epic Certification and/or proficiency of related application suite of products
·5 years’ experience with EMR system application implementation
·5 years leadership experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION:
REQUIRED:
·Maintenance of current licensure or certification related to area of specialty (OT, OT, SLP, RN, RPH, AHIMA, HFMA, NAHAM, etc.)
·Epic Certification or proficiency in area of responsibility
