The role you’ll contribute:
The overall goal of the Women’s Services Nurse Navigator is to support our community in navigating Florida Hospital Tampa’s services.The Women’s Services Nurse Navigator serves as a community resource for women’s health; assuring patients have appropriate and timely medical care and supportive services on an ongoing basis. The Women’s Services Nurse navigator ensures patients are effectively and efficiently navigated through the health care system receiving appropriate referrals, support and educational services through their journey. The focus is on nursing and patient education ensuring obstetrics and Women’s Health standards are implemented and result in excellent patient outcomes. In addition, this position supports the development of congregational health, community outreach and marketing programs including “Spirit of Women” for the hospital.
The Registered Nurse provides self-directed, effective nursing care to groups of patients and other duties as assigned in accordance with Division of Nursing standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation, Chapter 464.003 (3) (a): “Practice of professional nursing means the performance of those acts requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon applied practices of psychological, biological, physical, and social sciences.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. ·5 or more years of experience in Obstetrics and Women’s Health. ·Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement. ·NCC Certification.
