Golisano Childrens Hospital of SW FL - Lee Health seeks Pediatric Endocrinologist!

Located near the beaches of Southwest Florida is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 134 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services to take care of all of our communitys children from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU.

The organization has four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

LPG Pediatric Endocrinology is looking for a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist, with board certification in Pediatrics, to join four Endocrinologists and two Nurse Practitioners for its busy and growing practice. The group provides a full range of clinical services including diabetes, disorders of growth, puberty, adrenal, and thyroid gland, and obesity. Call will be 1:5. Position is mostly outpatient. New physician will be located primarily in the Naples office.

Pediatric Endocrinology is currently the sole provider of pediatric endocrine services between Tampa and Miami on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida with patients from the 6-7 surrounding counties. The group has a collaborative approach and has on staff a diabetic educator, social worker, psychologist, nutritionists, growth hormone nurse and pharmacy techs. The practice is recognized by the ADA as a Center of Diabetes Education.

Golisano is home to Southwest Floridas only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center and is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
