Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to add an energetic, enthusiastic BC/BE Occupational Medicine (highly desired) to join our dynamic WorkHealthySC division, responsible for providing healthcare services to regional employers. Highlights of the opportunity include:
Join a team of dedicated Occ Med providers (2 FT physicians, 1 PT physician, 1 NP)
Providing full spectrum of occupational medicine services at two locations (Greer and Spartanburg)
Clinic hours, 8a-5p, Monday-Friday. No weekends, no holidays, outpatient only.
Blend of Workers Comp injury/illness care; Pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, OSHA mandated Surveillance exams, Drug and alcohol testing, Multiple types of specialized Industrial Rehabilitation services
Large 54-foot mobile exam trailer allowing up to 20 comprehensive exams offsite.
Multiple Onsite employer-based clinic locations staffed by Nurse Practitioners and experienced staff support.
We are a division within a Level 1 Trauma Center with full access to highly specialized care.

Requirements:
BC/BE Occupational Medicine (highly desired). New grads welcome to apply.
Willing to consider board certified IM or FM physician with 3-5 years of urgent care / occ med related experience. (This is NOT a primary care position)
Able to see 15-18 patients daily – mix of scheduled patients and walk-in workers comp.
Some travel during the week WILL be required between the two main clinic and occasionally on the mobile exam trailer when scheduled.
Must possess or acquire FMCSA/DOT medical examiner and MRO certifications WITHIN 3 months of hire.
Experience with Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) are highly desirable.
Knowledge of AMA Impairment Guidelines is desirable.
Must be comfortable evaluating, treating, and managing acute workplace injuries.
Musculoskeletal injury care is a MUST.
Must be flexible and comfortable working with clients in all industrial settings to meet expectations.
Must be familiar with OSHA workplace standards.
Must be open minded and have great communication skills.
