The Product Engagement and Outreach Specialist drives engagement and implementation of strategic communication plan for new or unpromoted features within the existing technology suite for enterprise communication and collaboration tools. Efforts will included, but no limited to:
creation and maintaining engaging and informatitive content, including user guides, tutorials, website content, flyers, webinars, and other educational materials.
provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting to resolve any issues and co-facilitate online events and workshops.
stay updated on the latest product developments and industry trends to provide informed support and recommendations to users and technical teams.
Additionally, the Product Engagement and Outreach Specialist is responsible for the strategic communication support for project teams and related efforts across UCLA Health IT. This includes developing, implementing, and managing effective communication strategies and plans.
This is a flex-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite within 96 standard hours of being notified. The response time is based onstandard hours, NOT standard business hours. The MINIMUM required on site timefor this position is 5% (3 days) - 10% (6 days) per quarter. This means thatyou may be required to come on site more frequently, but it will be no less 5%(3 days) - 10% (6 days) per quarter. There are no reimbursements for travel to "home office" location. Each employee must complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $92,600 - $202,200 annually. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between $92,600-$133,000 annually.
Qualifications
Minimum three to five years of successful leadership experience in communications.
Experience executing communications strategy for similar or larger audiences using old and new media.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment and skilled in situational response decision-making.
Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, cooperation, and collaboration.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey complex and/or technical information in an easy-to-understand, compelling manner.
Strong project and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work in a deadline-oriented and team environment.
Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations.
Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, marketing, journalism, or English.
Three or more years of experience as a professional writer, preferably in a health care or technology setting.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, Adobe, WordPress, Web, content management systems.
