Providence Women's Clinics is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for to join it's established midwifery team serving Portland's westside. The Certified Nurse Midwife in this role will join a highly successful hospital-based, collaborative practice providing full-scope midwifery to a diverse population. Certified Nurse Midwives provide obstetric triage and perform first trimester ultrasounds. Services also include reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals, including pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Births are attended at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center which includes a Level III NICU and OB Hospitalist support. Patients and deliveries are further supported by perinatologists, neonatologists, lactation consultants and social workers. Encompasses both clinic-based and inpatient/surgical settings
Group takes call in-house. Assigned call room for use when there is down time in the hospital
Minimum of 2-years of post-graduate clinical experience as Certified Nurse Midwife preferred; or new graduate Certified Nurse Midwife with 2-years recent clinical RN experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum setting required
First Assist/C-Section surgical experience preferred
