Overview: Ear & Hearing at Center for Neurosciences is currently seeking an Audiologist who has interest or experience in a medical audiology position. The audiologists work closely with Neurotology and Otoneurology to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about optimizing patient outcomes. At Center for Neurosciences, we perform a variety of diagnostics and fit the full array of aural rehabilitation options, including cochlear implants, hearing aids, bone anchored devices, and middle ear implants for adults and children of all ages. Additionally, opportunities exist for participation in clinical research.

Audiology services:
Audiologic and tinnitus evaluations
Cochlear implant evaluations
Vestibular evaluations including: cVEMP, oVEMP, vHIT, VNG, and calorics
ABR/ASSR, ENOG, eCochg
Devices: Cochlear implants, hearing aids, BAHA, and middle ear implants
Audiologist daily tasks and responsibilities:
Establish rapport with, and gather history from, patients; conduct audiologic, tinnitus, cochlear implant, and vestibular evaluations; counsel patients; and make recommendations for aural rehabilitation options, including HAs and implantable devices
Cochlear implant evaluation, activation, follow-up MAPPING and evaluation
BAHA evaluation, activation, and follow-up
Hearing aid fitting, programming, following up, and verification/validation
Maintain documentation and patient files
Working closely with audiology assistants, the Neurotology department, and Vestibular Neurology department
Qualifications
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D)
Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.
The successful Audiologist will also possess the following:
Strong interest or experience in medical audiology
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
The ability to work in a team environment
The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members.
