Under the direct supervision of the manager/director of Building and Safety Facilities (Building Operations), the Building & Key Coordinator performs general maintenance tasks related to the research, clinical, and office space. The Building & Key Coordinator will demonstrate initiative in problem solving and inform the supervisor(s) as necessary based on the impact to building, occupants, and building systems. The Building & Key Coordinator will also apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Salary Range: $32.50 - $49.26 Hourly
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a science field and or equivalent experience/training.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of facility maintenance practices and procedures along with safety and emergency preparedness.
- Skill in interpreting documents such as complex technical procedures, instructions, manuals, specifications, blueprints and diagrams.
- Knowledge of common safety procedures, regulations, and applicable codes.
- Knowledge of the Uniform Building Code, Industrial Safety Standards, code procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to prepare a variety of correspondence, reports and documentation.
- Knowledge of the use of standard organization computer applications, Word, Excel and other common desktop applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Preferred:
- Certification in a specialty skilled/maintenance trade.
- Valid CA Driver's License.
- Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines.
- Knowledge of Campus Map.
- Knowledge of Research Labs.
- Knowledge of CISCO, Jabber, and other IT systems, apps, etc.
