The role you’ll contribute:
Provides office/clerical and administrative support to director, manager and supervisors on a day-to-day basis.Uses office skills to handle communications (internal and external), file organization, word processing, spreadsheets and computer graphics software, mathematical computation, report and letter preparation and decision making within the scope of responsibility
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Assists department director and other management in compiling data, reports, preparing and organizing information. ·Follows up on requests for clinicals by insurance companies including faxing clinicals, discharge plans, returning phone calls and/or communicating any requested information for the purpose of securing authorization. ·Maintains a system for tracking insurance authorizations and following up when authorization is pending to assure that authorization is obtained without delay or denial ·Greets department visitors, screens and forwards calls for manager and other staff.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: ·High school diploma ·L.P.N. preferred
