Position Summary

The Staffing Scheduler ? Nursing Services works collaboratively and effectively with Department Leadership, Centralized Staffing Office, and House Supervisors to ensure availability of adequate staffing with consideration for experience and skill to meet patient care needs.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
• Associate degree. (Preferred)

Experience

• Two years of administrative experience in health care setting. (Required)
• Previous experience with staffing/scheduling operations and software. (Preferred)
• Experience with scheduling and time/attendance systems. (Preferred)
• Experience in work that requires to attend to detail. (Preferred)

Special Skills

• Experience in a Windows environment that includes the use of MS Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Kronos/UKG. (Required)
• Flexibility in work hours to include off hours and weekends. (Required)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. (Required)
• Evidence of effective interpersonal, organizational, planning, team-building, and problem-solving skills. (Required)
• Evidence of effective communication skills. (Required)
