DescriptionJob SummaryThe Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) functions independently within parameters delineated by their supervising physician. The Emergency Medicine PA will assess, diagnose, and manage episodic illnesses, injuries and acute exacerbations of chronic diseases of the Pediatric Patient. Responsibilities include; performing history and physical examination, ordering and interpreting radiological and laboratory test results, treating minor injuries, prescribing medications, documenting patient care services within EMR and departmental records, and performing procedures within scope of practice and demonstrating through competency.
