The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for overseeing all administrative operations of the Primary Healthcare Center. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO will play a pivotal role in setting the strategic direction and ensuring the organization meets its goals and objectives. The CEO will lead a team of executives including the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Medical Officer (CMO), delegating responsibilities to ensure seamless operations across all departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community. The CEO will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration among staff, while also building strong relationships with stakeholders and partners. This position requires a dynamic individual who can navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry, adapt to change, and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and patient care. A Masters Degree in Health Care with a minimum of 5 years of nonprofit health care experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive role within the healthcare sector
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and financial management

Primary Healthcare Centers (PHC) is a 46 year old independent non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center located in northwest Georgia. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of patients and individuals who represent the communities served. The service area, located in the beautiful geographic area of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, is comprised of four counties (Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade and Walker) which are primarily defined as rural. Towns of Trenton, Rossville, and Ringgold are considered bedroom communities of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Three counties border Tennessee on the north and two border Alabama on the west. It operates nine clinic sites, four are school-based health clinics, and employs over 100 team members with an operating budget of over $14M annually. Over 15,000 patients are served annually. Uninsured/under-insured, low income patients are served through a sliding-fee discount program. Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance are accepted. Primary medical care, behavioral health, case management/social work, nutrition, telemed, laboratory, radiology, 340b pharmacy, transportation and other enabling and support services are provid...ed by physicians, family nurse practitioners, nurses and medical assistants, x-ray and lab techs, front desk, medical records, referral specialists, human resources, risk/compliance, quality improvement, financial and other administrative support.
