Primary Role
The Data and Analytics Product Manager is responsible for driving the success of our data and analytics initiatives by acting as the Operational Analytics Product Manager for ACE. The Data & Analytics Product Manage will play a crucial role in organizing and leading the analytics stakeholder governance, establishing benchmarks, and overseeing targets. This individual will assist service line and executive leadership in creating standardized benchmarks and targets that are critical for the organization's success. Furthermore, the role includes expanding data governance efforts to maintain a central repository of definitions and dashboards, ensuring consistency and accessibility across the organization. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of analytics and product management to effectively guide and support the organization's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management for Operational Analytics:
Lead the analytics stakeholder governance group to ensure effective data ownership and clear dashboard definitions.
Develop and maintain benchmarks and targets for operational analytics.
Oversee data governance, ensuring data quality and integrity across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics initiatives with business objectives.
Drive the adoption of analytics tools and methodologies within the organization.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in operational analytics.
Data Request Management:
Implement processes for efficient intake, prioritization, and execution of Caboodle-related and other data requests; including handling of Change Management.
Utilize data governance principles to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Facilitate Caboodle Development Huddles, leverage as a mechanism to prioritize requests as well as identify opportunities for improvement as it relates to Caboodle intake and development life cycle
Solution Identification and Liaison:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify innovative solutions to data and analytics challenges.
Facilitate alignment between business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities through effective communication and collaboration.
Documentation of Business Requirements:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Use tools such as business requirement documents (BRDs) and user stories to drive clarity and consensus among stakeholders.
Testing and Validation:
Develop and execute testing strategies to validate data and analytics deliverables, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
Implement feedback loops to iterate on product improvements based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Project Coordination:
Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver special operational analytics projects applying agile principles and methodologies.
Manage project timelines, resources, and dependencies to achieve project goals within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Education/training
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four years of equivalent technical experience required
Required Experience
Proven experience in product management, with a focus on data and analytics products or projects.
Demonstrated understanding of product management principles, including market analysis, roadmap development, and prioritization techniques.
Proficiency in data management concepts and technologies, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and analytics platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable product features.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and agile project management tools
Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) are a plus.
Preferred Experience
Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to healthcare and research stakeholders.
Experience working with healthcare professionals and researchers to understand their healthcare and research objective
