Transplant ID/BMT Physician
The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an experienced Infectious Disease Physician, as such this provider will maintain ultimate responsibility for the medical care of patients with infectious diseases in the transplant, advanced heart failure and advanced lung disease populations.Key Responsibilities: Provide expertise to develop guidelines for the prevention and management of infections for each transplant program to minimize infection-related morbidity and mortality Provide education support for each transplant program to ensure that clinical protocols are standard of care and that physicians are well trained Collaborate with community infectious disease partners to build and engage a robust network
