LPN ORTHO SPINE CLINIC -Summary Work Performed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Level Characteristics following:
- Working Heavy lifting and the ability to transport stretcher and wheelchair directed, physician performed, physician correspondence including record specimens
- Perform other clinical functions as delegated by supervisor
- Answer telephones-explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Greet patients, arrange for laboratory services
- Schedule appointments age-specific competencies
- Take medical histories and record vital signs
- Perform routine administrative and patient care support duties
- Fill out insurance forms; good customer service skills
- Telephone/ handle billing and bookkeeping duties
- Change sterile and non-sterile dressings, remove staples
- Authorize drug refills as directed
- Administrative duties may include but not limited to the update and file
- Perform other administrative duties as examinations and procedures examination and procedures
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Remove Assisting physician during the

Minimum Qualifications
Education-Work requires graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
Experience experience required.
