Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park) is seeking a Board-certified or Board-eligible fellowship-trained neuroradiologist for its Neuroradiology Department. Roswell Park is a Public Benefit Corporation formed by New York State in 1999 that operates a $1 billion nationally ranked NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center located in Buffalo, NY.
The Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Department contains state of the art equipment including 3 MRIs (3T GE architect, 3T GE 750, 1.5 T GE artist) and 4 CTs (GE dual energy and 3 helical GE CT scanners). Neuroradiology call is shared among neuroradiologists and includes overnight tele-radiology. We are actively involved in research with our clinical colleagues. We work collaboratively with the surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists to provide multidisciplinary care to our patients as well as with Roswell Park outreach programs to increase services in our local community. Academic faculty appointments are also provided through an affiliation with University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Buffalo has undergone a major transformation in the past few years, building on its marvelous waterfront on the shores of Lake Erie, its historic architecture, its affordable, charming, tree-lined neighborhoods, its proximity to Canada and the Toronto metropolitan area, its world-renowned symphony and art gallery, dozens of universities and colleges, and its international airport.
Salary range is $450,000 -550,000 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position has the opportunity for hybrid work and a sign-on bonus!
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
The candidate will have a License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York; Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Diagnostic Imaging or the specialties of Body Imaging, Diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology or Angio/Interventional Radiology and a Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Diagnostic Imaging or the specialties of Body Imaging, Diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology, or Angio/Interventional Radiology.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. A New York State Medical license is required. Completion of a neuroradiology fellowship is required.
Successful candidates will have strong clinical skills in all facets of diagnostic neuroradiology including MRI, MRA, MR perfusion, MR spectroscopy, functional MRI, DTI, CT, CTA and Head & Neck imaging. The ideal candidate should have a level of comfort with procedures including Lumbar punctures, CT guided biopsies as well as a willingness to expand services.
