Position Summary

Responsibilities

• You will initiate and complete the admission/patient registration process, interpreting system regulations and policies and acting as a resource for patients and families
• You will explain purpose and obtain signature for all documents requiring signatures
• You will meet, greet, and interview patient, providing for isolation cautionary measures if needed, relative, or patients representative to obtain pertinent information
• You will assist technologists as needed or requested

Requirements

• Post high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in a clerical position, medical setting preferred with medical insurance(s)
• Medical Terminology certification preferred
