Nemours Children's Health - Delaware invites applicants for a full-time integrated primary care psychologist position. We have a 20-year history of providing integrated behavioral health services as part of interprofessional teams in our network of Nemours pediatric primary clinics throughout the state of Delaware, and are excited to expand our team.
The Primary Care Psychologist in this position will join the pediatric primary care teams at Nemours Children's Health, Pike Creek and Nemours Children's Health, Newark. The teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, nurses, medical assistants, and a care coordinator who provide team-based care to patients and their families. The Pike Creek practice, located in a suburban area of Wilmington, Delaware, serves a predominantly commercially-insured patient population (78%) and the racial/ethnic breakdown is as follows: 76% White/Caucasian; 8% Black/African-American; 18% Asian/Pacific Islander, and 6% Latine. The Newark practice located in Newark, Delaware serves a large, diverse patient population including 45% white/Caucasian; 38% Black/African-American; 10% Asian/Pacific Islander, 11% Hispanic/Latinx, with 60% of families using commercial insurance and 36% Medicaid.

Psychologists are members of the medical staff at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware and are supported with applying for an academic appointment through the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
Qualifications
* Ph.D/ Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical, counseling, or school psychology program
* Pre-doctoral Internship from an APA-accredited site, and at least one year of postdoctoral experience in a child-focused setting.
* Fully licensed in Delaware or immediately license eligible in Delaware.
