SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provide technology support to one or more operational business units of the Medical Center. Participate in team planning and discussions, prepare sections of team documents, lead small to medium-sized projects, and participate in larger projects. Emphasize daily task completion and project completion, according to specific instructions (which usually require the implementation of known approaches, perhaps with modest modification, rather than the engineering of new solutions).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Work with other operational areas to ensure that effective and integrated delivery of information technology services as required for assigned projects and routine operations.
Lead small to medium-sized projects (e.g., with the information technology department or for a small business unit).
Serve as an information technology liaison with the client community.
Assist in the resolution of application production problems.
Maintain application profile tables. Use vendor-supplied tools to perform ad hoc reporting.
Recruit resources from other information technology teams as required to resolve problems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor?s degree with two (2) years of experience or six (6) years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
Technical support experience using ERP systems, e.g.: SAP, Oracle, Infor.
Incident, Request, and Change Management process experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
On-call support experience
