The role you’ll contribute:

This positions assumes an individual has some cook/baker experience.  Individual maintains the responsibility for the cooking and/or baking of all hot foods including

entrees, vegetables, starches and for the department including patient tray line and cafeteria. This task should be done in such a manner to ensure the highest quality of

product, efficient utilization of time and cost containment.

 

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·  Assures that all foods are cooked to the state of being done and holds foods in safe zones,

·  Cleans and sanitizes all work environments,

·  Cooks and bakes all hot foods for patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery,

·  Modifies any food to meet various diets as required,

·  Sets up food for cafeteria server,

·  Sets up food for patient tray line,

·  Serves on patient tray line and/or cafeteria servery as directed,

·  Assists in the ordering of food stock as appropriate,

·  Must take necessary precautions and follow correct procedures for lifting and bending

·  Follows safety and sanitation rules and regulations

·  Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:  

·  Minimum of one (1) year cook/baker experience
