Job Description
Exciting Opportunity at MSK:
We are thrilled to invite applications for the position of Statistical-Immuno-Oncology Postdoctoral Fellow. This outstanding role at MSK offers the chance to work at the forefront of immuno-oncology research, contributing to groundbreaking studies that could significantly advance cancer treatment. Equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of an MSK degree.
Role Overview:
Join our team as a Statistical-Immuno-Oncology Postdoctoral Fellow, where you'll analyze high-dimensional data like flow cytometry and single-cell RNA sequencing. Your findings will contribute to our understanding of patients' responses to immune checkpoint blockade therapies, with access to comprehensive clinical annotation data. Collaborate with top immuno-oncology experts and innovate new approaches to transform cancer treatment.
Key Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Experience in high-dimensional data analysis.
- Strong methodological training in statistics.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (Python/R/Matlab).
- Experience working on Unix/Linux systems and basic shell scripting.
- Prior experience with single-cell data is desirable.

- Outstanding analytical and computational skills.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in crafting and implementing impeccable statistical models.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively in a team.

Additional Information:
This position is supervised jointly by Drs. Ronglai Shen and Katherine Panageas. The successful applicant will join a world-class team at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, located in the heart of New York City.

Pay Range: $55,439 - 100,940
