IU Health and the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program is seeking a physician leader to join our team! The candidates should have an outstanding record of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. The candidates will be considered across broad areas of expertise, including clinical trials and/or translational research; an interest in graft engineering and novel preclinical and/or clinical trial approaches to transplantation is of special consideration.
Director of Cellular Therapy
Academic practice with focus on clinical care, research and education
Practice comprised of hematology/oncology subspecialists focusing on 13 disease-focused programs.
Procedures include Bone marrow biopsies, harvest, stem cell and bone marrow transplantation, immune effector cell infusion

Key Responsibilities
Provide independent judgement in diagnosis, treatment of patients, and formulation of treatment plans
Oversee the interdisciplinary team, residents, and medical students in all aspects of their assigned duties
Provide medical educational and multidisciplinary team coordination services
Lead development of our leukemia research program and obtain independent funding for research program
Minimum job requirements
BE/BC in Hematology/Oncology
Obtain IN license
MD, DO or equivalent education
