Non-Tenure-Eligible Cardiology Clinician–Educator
The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include supporting the inpatient electrophysiology consult service, electrophysiology lab, and ambulatory clinic.
Qualified candidates must have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine and advanced electrophysiology procedures, including device implantation and ablations. The preferred candidate will have completed an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program, hold board-certification in cardiology, be board-eligible or -certified in cardiac electrophysiology, and preferably have a strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support. In addition to research skills as noted, the successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and/or graduate students.
