The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa

The role you’ll contribute:
Perform daily cleaning using the 10-step process of assigned areas. Conduct project cleaning of walls, lights entrances, common areas, windows vents, sidewalks, etc. as assigned. Transport soiled linen and waste in accordance with department and AH Hospital policy and procedures as they relate to waste handling and soiled linen handling. Assist in cleanup of emergency spills as requested or observed. Perform mopping and general floor care for carpeted and hard surfaces as assigned. Conducts SNIPER disinfecting as required. Maintain areas of responsibility to the high standards set by the department, its member and Hospital. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Hospital and the department. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Employee job duties may include transport of hazardous waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area. Employee will be required to complete initial training (prior to handling hazardous waste) and refresher training to include proper handling and transport of hazardous waste, and proper selection, use and disposal of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Highschool degree or GED equivalent. ·One year of custodial experience in a commercial setting.
