Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Support radiologists by assisting in certain procedures such as breast biopsies
- Support rad techs by assisting in certain exams, such as Coronary artery CTA
- Additional responsibilities include but not limited to, such as maintaining crash cart and QA books
- Serving as a liaison between the patient and medical staff
- Starting intravenous fluids to inject special dyes or contrast mediums into patients
- Identifying unexpected reactions in patients during procedures

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State (NYS) with current NYS registration and in good standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.)
- Current BLS certification
- 1+ years of recent pertinent professional nursing experience in a hospital, medical office, or other clinical setting
- 1+ years of experience as a registered nurse in a Outpatient Radiologic setting
- Experience with Epic EMR software
New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
