Join our collaborative IUHPCardiology team! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Heart Failure team practicing at Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis!
Position Details:
Part time, Weekend day-shift
Saturday and Sunday (7am-5pm)
2 10-hour weekend shifts (inpatient)
No call
90% inpatient, 10% outpatient
Work directly with 3 physicians and 6 other APPs
Responsibilities:
This position will include initiation of guideline directed medical therapy, inpatient advanced heart failure management, as well as outpatient follow up appointments in clinic and patient education for heart failure patients
Ideal candidates have excellent critical thinking skills, are able to multitask in a high intensity setting, and have confidence in their clinical skills to function top of scope
Qualifications:
Cardiology/Heart Failure experience preferred
Master’s Degree required
Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, ANP, FNP or PA
If new graduate, ICU/PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations required
