Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator. In the role of RN Clinical Coordinator you will:
Actively support department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit including shift charge, department and/or service line.
Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards.
Act as liaison between physicians and patient care team. Maintain communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments. Supervise the staff; authorize work procedures and assign duties.
Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.
Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
1-year clinical RN Experience
Associates Degree in Nursing required
BSN, preferred
RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
Nursing Specialty Certification related to the specialty is strongly preferred
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

?The Intensive Care Unit at Holy Cross Hospital - Jordan Valley West encompasses a culture of learning, teaching, and collaboration. This department has a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio and 10 beds to care for patients with STEMIs, sepsis, balloon pump, impellas, post cardiac arrest hypothermia, DKAs, GI bleeds as well as medical and surgical ICU and overflow from other inpatient units. We thrive on teamwork and genuinely care about each other?s patients. We also welcome students and enjoy being a part of their growth journey. To facilitate our nurse?s professional growth, we have opportunities within our unit and support cross training to other departments. Our team preforms with integrity, responsibility, and curiosity.
