• Responsible for leading supply chain services for all campuses of SGMC Health System in accordance with established policies. Lead data management, sourcing and contracting, vendor management, purchasing and procurement, replenishment, logistics, inventory management; This role requires a blend of technical and analytical skills, with a focus on data modeling, visualization, and KPI tracking to support strategic decisions and drive improvement initiatives. Experience with applications, dashboards, and data-driven insights that impact our business’s operational performance required; Enhance supply chain efficiency processes to reduce waste, and streamline operations through implementation of best practices and utilization of technology solutions; Evaluate readiness to adopt industry standards and technologies; Negotiate contracts with vendors, monitor supplier performance, and work to maintain an available supply of products and services; Analyze supply costs, evaluate contract price optimization options, and utilize outside solutions and expertise to achieve savings; Identify supply chain risks such as disruptions in the supply of critical items, changes in regulations, or vendor reliability issues. Work to mitigate supply chain risks through the development of contingency plans, diversifying suppliers, and implementing risk mitigation strategies; Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards related to the procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies, and address potential non-compliance issues; Collaborate with external organizations, industry associations, and professional networks to stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovation in supply chain management; Analyze supply chain metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance performance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from a formal 4 year accredited college with a degree in Business Administration or other related field, with a preference of a Master’s Degree in Business or Healthcare. CMRP preferred plus Minimum of five (5) years in Supply Chain Services to include data analytics contracting, sourcing, procurement, capital acquisitions, purchasing, logistics, distribution in a health service organization; 3-5 years should be in supervisory position. Develop and implement plans for supply chain operations to support organizational goals and objectives to include onboarding of predictive data and advanced technology solutions and systems. Expertise in analyzing data, finding solutions to complex data requests, managing projects, and embracing constant change. Design and support the development of interactive dashboards that effectively display performance metrics, lead measures, and KPIs. Continuously monitor and track KPIs providing timely insights and identifying trends or areas requiring attention.
