Summary: The Child Care Attendant provides prompt and courteous customer service to all guests, patients and/or families. Interacts with children to provide a stimulating and fun place while ensuring a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities: 1. Communicates effectively with children, parents, and team members. Maintains consistent, clear, and concise communication to appropriate staff. Resolves complaints and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner. 2. Adheres to established policies and procedures, including those related to operational responsibilities, disciplinary occurrences, and emergency management. Operational responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, recording, and maintaining accurate program documentation, and ensuring a safe and secure drop off and pick up procedure. 3. Helps maintain and re-stocks inventory and supplies in play area. Maintains high standards of facility cleanliness. Ensures that all equipment is kept in safe working order. Provides a clean and safe environment for children. 4. Implement age-appropriate program activities. Ensures that children interact safely with one another and intervenes as necessary. Creates an atmosphere that is fun, safe, friendly, and engaging. 5. For Wellness Teammates - Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor. Works with other attendants to build enthusiastic and highly competent team. Helps develop effective and motivational goals to enhance superior customer service standards. Attends staff meetings. Helps implement innovative strategies for program success.

Education Requirements: ? None required. Licensure/Certification Requirements: ? Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required within one (1) month from date of hire. Professional Experience Requirements: ? Education classes or experience in childcare, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field preferred. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: ? Ability to handle the physical demands to lead and participate in program activities including indoor and outdoor games.
